Brief: to design and build a website for a real or notional client which gives a clear indication of the content, structure, navigation and interface design of the final site.

Craft and Media Technologies One
Audio brief: to produce a radio trailer for a radio programme with an accompanying report. The programme must last exactly one minute long and must demonstrate an understanding of audio production.

Photography brief: to produce a photographic essay exploring a subject comprising of 10-20 images. Show evidence of progression of the project with thought given to planning, preparation and experimentation.

Video brief: to produce a video, exactly 60 seconds long. The film must have a narrative with a beginning, a middle and an end - however simple.

Interactive Communication Design
Portfolio site brief:
to create a website to store all work completed over the three years of the course.

Flash brief: to create a Flash website and a Flash slideshow containing at least ten images.

Web site review brief:
choose a specific category, and produce a brief evaluation of a minimum of 5 very different sites within that category.
Each site reviewed should be given a star rating for each of the criteria.

Brief: to design and produce a gallery website to showcase thematic original visual work. The website must have a suitable interface design and look and “feel” for chosen content, contain dynamic content and include search strategies and facilities.
