For this task we had to produce an interactive Flash site for our given product or service, documenting development (including progress and problem solving) in our project blog.

When we were informed about this task we had to firstly draw out of a hat which sort of website we would be making. The website I had to build was a website advertising a ski resort aimed at young adults. I downloaded a font called 28 Days Later off Urban Fonts and this was going to be used for my logo and headers.

For this task I looked at a lot of Ski websites but none of these seemed to really have the same impact as what I required as these mainly focused on ski holidays instead of the actual resort. I did find one website which has a link in my blog, and this showed me some areas that I should look at adding such as accommodation, restaurants, bars, images etc.

When concluding this project I was fairly happy with what I had produced. I felt that this was a good website that advertised a skiing resort very well and kept well within the range of the target audience as being a young adult myself I felt that I had an advantage as I know what sort of things people would like to look at, when being interested in visitng a resort. This website I feel could of had a map of the resort and showed the weather report but this is something I will have to use in the future as I ran out of time and struggled when trying to correct these problems. The use of the links I feel were a strong point as the user always knew which page they where on. The other parts I felt that made my website succesful was the content, flash media player and the layout as it went well with the look as if snow had damaged the logo, text etc.
