The Freak Show
Interactive Installation
Brief
The brief was to create an interactive installation based around the theme "Freak show" involving all the (then) freakish and weird objects brought back by whalers in the early 1900s. We were to design the install to be shown in maritime museum in Hull.
Section 1 - Ideas
Following the "freak show" brief title we decided upon a circus theme for the installation. We wanted to incorporate some maritime elements into the piece and devised an input system involving a wooden ships wheel.

A lack of communication (on both parts) resulted in a slightly unsuitable product being created. Due to a number of circumstances we didnt see the client (at all) until a week before the project was due in, giving us a week to recreate major elements of it to be more suitable for the display. I think given these problems we did an effective install but given more time/better communication it wouldve been nice to include superior interations.
