BBC Big Screen project
Brief
The purpose of this module is to explore professional practice. It will explore current and futures technology and attain further understanding of audience and context. Students will further develop production skills and techniques and put into practice in client related scenarios. Students will gain experience of negotiating the design, pitch presentation, implementation and project management of an Interactive Media application.
A link to the full brief can be found here.
Section 1 - Ideas
The client for this project was the BBC who asked us to make an interactive christmas game for the Big screen in the middle of Hull. We chose to make an Interactive Snowglobe which shook the more players jumped up and down infront of the camera.
Section 2 - Final Piece
The final piece can be viewed here (Webcam needed)
Section 3 - Evaluation
There are various improvements I'd have liked to make to this project given more time:
- More positive feedback for the user on what was causing the snowglobe to shake
- Smoother animation on the snowglobe
