Video: Brief 2 the humber bridge
The Brief
"Working in small groups (min 2, max 4) you will produce a 3 - 5 minute documentary, mockumentary or docudrama piece. Credits can be extra if necessary.
You are encouraged to experiment but the film must have a coherent structure: a beginning, middle and an end - however simple. Staff will be available to assist you during the course of the project and you will be expected to show your work as it progresses.
You can use any digital camera (whether it is a pro-quality DV cam or a still camera with video capability or a camera enabled mobile phone). Sound is required.
The resultant video must show evidence of the skills you have learnt in the video workshops. It is also essential that you do your own research both into camera techniques and the genre of the documentary, mockumentary or docudrama."
My Proposal
I intend to create a 3-minute mockumentary, in the style of a Channel 4-esque Cutting Edge documentary. This will be based on the Humber Bridge, a nearby geographical interest and source of political unrest.

During my research, I watched several episodes of This Is David Lander, a program with similar basic ideas. I also purchased a DV Camera, and spent time reading technical documentation about video and audio production.
