About Me

My name is Mike Brown. I'm 30 and I live in Hull in the East Riding of Yorshire, UK.
I have always been interested in designing all sorts of things since i was very young, especially games. I first began designing games when I was 14 in the form of Adventure Books and Interactive Fiction. Gradually I learned some programming through free software such as Game Maker and Adventure Game Studio and decided I would like to take it to the next level.
Here at university I'm hoping to learn some practical skills to go along side my creative experience and gain my degree.
In my spare time I play drums and other instruments. Music has always been important for me also. If I am not jamming with mates, I like to go out and see a band or stay in, listen to music or mess around with music software on my comp.
My ambition is to one day set up my own design studio and live off the fat of the land :D
