This week i dished up some flash art for the enemies of the game.

Enemy Designs

Previously i had drawn concept up for 3 different types of penguins i planned to have as enemies in my game, aftering rethinking it recently i have now dropped it down to two. But since i have decided to remove the gun from gameplay and play it out as a platformer, i only really need two, very much like Mario on certain levels.

The Penguin on the left is a Smoking Penguin. Smoking Penguins wobble back and forth and cause damage to you when you come near them. The way to defeat one, is by jumping on top of it's head...if you don't want to kill it and rush through the level, you can simply jump over them and continue on further.

The Penguin on the right, is a Flying Penguin. Flying Penguins, shoot across the level at a higher speed rate than Smoking Penguins and cannot be defeated by any means, so you have to either jump over it or hope it flies over the top of your head. It's to be noted that their appearance is randomised along the Y Axis, so you have to keep your eyes peeled for them.
