Photography Essay
Brief
Produce a series of photographic images exploring a subject and display them on a web site.
My Idea
I plan to follow the Hull Fish Trail and take photos of things that grab my attention along the way . These may include photos of nature, architecture, social settings and places or items of historical interest. I have no idea what I will pass along the way, it will be a voyage of discovery where I hope to see and learn things about the city that I have lived in all my life.
My Research
I am going to go to Hull tourist Information and obtain leaflets on the Hull Fish Trail.
While obtaining my leaflet at the Hull tourist Information center a member of staff informed me that the Fish trail was originally intended to be a walk through the city center that passed by all of the major city museums and other areas of historical interest.

Project Review
I am very happy with some of photos in particular the ones below
Alien Foliage
I like the color contrasts between the almost alien like foliage in the foreground, I also like the narrow depth of field shown by the focus on the foliage at the front of the image and the lack of focus on the The Deep (the building in the background).
Silhouette
The silhouette effect caused by the light source been behind the statue, was an effect I tried to achieve and am very happy with the end result.
Gandhi
This Image shows the alternative effect of depth of field to the alien foliage photo. The blurred plants in the foreground contrast really well with the sharp focus on the statue at the rear.
