The Brief
The module builds an awareness of the significance of dynamic web based systems, understanding of the potentials that such systems offer, and the implications of dynamic content to the website designer.
Design and produce a gallery website to showcase thematic original visual work. The website must have a suitable interface design and look and “feel” for chosen content, contain dynamic content and include search strategies and facilities. The final website should demonstrate clear application of website design principles, interface design, information architecture and usability conventions.

Overall I am happy with the results of the gallery website. In this brief I was able to create a table using MySql, make a form to insert data into the table and retrieve the data from the table. From this I was then able to make a site, which offers a small working gallery showcasing my own work displayed in a thematic design. Using PHP programming I also made a search tool so the user has the choice of searching for an item within any page of the site. This is a good feature for when the site grows to help customers find the item they are looking for.
Within this brief, I have enjoyed learning a new coding language the most and plan to improve on the skills learnt in this brief to produce more working PHP run websites like this.
I believe I have met the aim of the brief, by developing a fully working thematic gallery in PHP and now have an understanding for PHP Programming and MySql databases.
