To build a new website for York Theatre Royal including a purpose-built content management system and interface.
In doing so, achieving the following objectives:
• to revitalise the look and feel of the existing York Theatre Royal website;
• to build a new, more functional content management system, providing much needed
flexibility to the marketing team;
• to integrate social media, blogging and online communities into the framework of the York Theatre Royal website;
• to provide greater flexibility to tailor marketing activity; giving York Theatre Royal the opportunity to target campaigns around productions with ease and in one online space;
• to maximise the use of new platforms, such as the iPhone, Blackberry and Facebook connect.
