Semester Three - Reviewed

The third semester has thrown lots of new challenges at me, all of which I have been happy to embrace and fulfill to my best potential.

I have learnt a basic, but solid understanding of PHP and MySQL, these new skills have given me a base to start on, I can now upload images using a form and retrieve the data into a specified area aswell as alot of other dynamic skills using PHP, to see these skills view the Designing For Dynamic Content project. I will continue to investigate and experiment with both the languages and improve my understanding to enable me to further develop my dynamic site creation skills.

My animation skills have been updated also due to the fact that I have been using Flash CS3 alot more whilst creating the website for the Design For The User project. These skills have added to my existing knowledge meaning I can create more advanced animations using ActionScript, embedded videos and sounds. My usability awareness has also increased due to this module which focuses on informtion being easy accessible for the user in order to improve the users experience.
